Dreamhost affiliate program overpays their affiliate accounts? How could this happened? Appear to be caused by some program bugs that handle the coupon discount price. Dreamhost allows their member to generate coupon code and offers discount up to $50 dollars, this amount should be deducted from the total commission value of $97 dollars, before calculating for the net payment! Something went wrong here!
And how they fixing this? A huge amount of money lost and account is not balanced right now. As being informed, dreamhost affiliate program will deduct future payment by 25%, and this amount will be use to repay the previous overpay! Its pay back time!
